Aloha, babies. We are writing to you from the do assignments online fabulous Flowers studio in our hometown of Minneapolis, MN where we are in the midst of recording our new album with Jon Auer of The Posies and Big Star. We will be continuing to make the album later this summer with Minneapolis living-legend Ed Ackerson. Our new single, “Your Love Is A Poison” is now available all over the world on most online music stores, including Itunes. Many other things have been shaking in the world of The Melismatics. We recently had a great time opening for Joan Jett and The Blackhearts at Summerfest in Milwaukee, WI. Here’s a photo from the show taken by Mike Minehart:
Pony and Ryan of The college essay on how is the degree necassery for the fullfillment of your goals Melismatics have a new garage rock/metal/electronic side project, The Cosmic Shakes who just had the single “Fire It Up” featured on ESPN’s “SportsCenter” all last week. They will also have a song “Dead Ringer” on an upcoming game for the Zivix game “Jam Party” for Guitar Hero and Rock Band controllers.
The Melismatics will be on an East Coast Tour in September; some dates are posted, but look for more to come as the tour becomes solidified.
 We are psyched to announce the release of our new single, “Your Love Is A Poison”; it’s now available world-wide on Itunes, Amazon MP3, Myspace Music, Napster, Nokia, E Music, Zune, and most other online music stores. This track was produced by Ed Ackerson creative writing help and mixed/mastered by John Fields. We are exploring new musical territory for the band with this track, as will with much of the upcoming album.
