Well, we’ve survived one of the most brutal Minnesnowta winters we’ve had in a long while, and all of this ice and snow has made us ready to rock…acoustically that is! We are about to kick off the MelCartel Tour in Minneapolis, MN at Sooo Local (a Live Letters event) Thursday, March 13th.  Ryan and Pony of The Melismatics will be performing acoustically with Benjamin Cartel of the NYC-based group Kaiser Cartel.  We will be collaborating and backing each other up in our college admission essay narrative sets.  Check the dates and cities out here…

“RISING TIDE” ON THE RISE

 

Our latest album, “Rising Tide” continues to make waves in the indie rock world…It recently debuted at #9 on the CMJ Top Adds, and it has since been climbing the Top 200 ever since.  The album has also been given love from commercial stations like Indie 103 (LA, CA) and 96.1FM WKZQ (Myrtle Beach USA).“Rising Tide” also made a number of “Best of 2013” lists, including Broken Hearted Toy’s Top 25 and The Sun Herald’s Top 10.
