Hallo, Tja, and salut. In other words, greetings to all our beloved babies. Summer is finally here, and with it comes the June edition of our newsletter. This festive and sweltering time of year brings many electrifying events and projects to the world of The Melismatics. Firstly, we are embarking on the the creation of our newest full-length album, and launching a new Kickstarter to fund some of the production costs. We are offering new and unique rewards for those who contribute. We have a goal of raising a minimum of $5,000, but the more we raise the more creative possibilities we have with our recordings, videos, and artwork. Stay tuned as we’ll be posting the new Kickstarter page soon. We truly appreciate all of your support!
In addition to spending countless hours in the studio this summer, we will also be hitting the road. See our current tour dates below, and check www.melismatics.com frequently for the latest info as we will be adding new shows to the calendar soon.
This past month we received lots of love from MTV and the CW Network having music from our latest album, “MANIA!” appearing on such shows as “Punk’d,” “Pauly D Project,” “Friendzone” and “The Catalina.” We also celebrated the 10- year anniversary of our first album, “Postmodern Rock” at The Amsterdam Hall in St Paul, MN and we’ve got photos from the event below. Remember, we contribute 50% of all digital sales of “Postmodern Rock” Deluxe Edition (which customer essay features our brand new single “Missing Years”) to Rock The Cause. Get it now on iTunes!

The Melismatics = Featured Artists on MTV’s “Punk’d”
|
“Out Of Yer Mind,” from our latest album “MANIA!” was recently the featured track and free download on the soundtrack for MTV’s “Punk’d.” Coincidentally, the following week the featured track was “The New Now” by Ryan’s side project, Coalition. “Punk’d” has been using healthy doses of Melismatics music this season, as has “Pauly D Project” and “Friendzone.” Follow us on Twitter to stay updated on when and where you can hear The Melismatics on TV.
